The Study has well equipped, State –of-the- Art Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Language and Computer Science. These Laboratories provide the perfect ambience for experiments and research. The atmosphere ignites passion in the students, for them to learn using hands-on activities! A high degree of safety standards are maintained.
English Lab
With the use of innovative and creative materials children acquire language skills at their own pace. Activity based training motivates students to learn without any stress and develop confidence. It also promotes integration of linguistic skills.
Maths Lab
“Learning by doing” forms the basis for all the activities in the lab. The Maths Lab enhances concept stabilization using laboratory activities.
The Study swimming pools are designed for use by children and infants. Hence we have safety as paramount importance from the very beginning. We have a 2ft shallow pool for the toddlers with a 5ft deep pool which required for diving and to conduct swimming and diving competitions in the future.
The filtration and water treatment system for a school pool is highly accurate in order to protect the young ones from high concentration of chlorine and other pool chemicals. We have a completely automatic chlorine and chemical dosing systems that senses the amount of disinfectant needed and adds it automatically, thus maintaining safe water conditions at all times.
The school boasts of a fleet of 23 buses and vans to commute the students from a radius of about 25 Km in and around Pondicherry from the vicinity of the school. Trained, Uniformed drivers and helpers cater to the transport needs of the students.
All the students are obliged to gain practical experience in the course of their academic education. The concept of Clubs is seen as an opportunity for adaptation to life in the group, forming good life long habits and cultivating a voluntary spirit. Club activities supplement academics and give the students practical training which they require in day to day life. At The Study- various club activities are organized giving an opportunity to the students to tap their talent and hone their skills
Educators are looking for ways to improve student motivation, attention, behavior, attendance, and focus. Teachers strive to achieve state and national educational standards regarding development of micro and macro motor ability and listening and observation skills. The Archery Club aims at developing these skills in the students and Guinness record holder and black belt Karate champion Shian Hussain has initiated his Arjuna Academy of Archery at The Study to bring in these positive input among the students.
In accordance with the CBSE Heritage Education Program (CHEP) various activities were conducted throughout the year. Members of the heritage club get together with the purpose of creating awareness, preserving and promoting our varied and rich ancient culture and traditions, among the young learners. It conducts various activities and educational excursions for students that enable them to appreciate the traditions, culture and religious diversity of our country.
This club focuses on imbibing value based education amongst the students. The club opens doors for Enthusiastic participation in debates, discussions, seminars to imbibe confidence. Through this club we are trying to discuss about social conflicts and problems, which our country is going through. The issues of poverty, unemployment, superstitions, exploitations etc are also dealt with. Students are encouraged to bring charts; write-ups etc. and these are being critically discussed in the class.
This amusing club talks about the movements of foot and fist including kicking and punching. This form of martial arts includes combat techniques, self-defense, sport, exercise, meditation and philosophy. The club is popular with the students of both the genders as it prepares them to keep their body fit and encounter their opponent valiantly.
The inception of the club took place to introduce students with several musical instruments. They are told about the fascinating form of music composed without vocal accompaniment. Musical instruments of almost all sorts like strings, percussion and keyboard are being taught in the club. Students are also provided with a solid grasp of music theory concepts and kind of different sound effects produced by separate instruments. The club members never fail to bag the first prize in any competitions they participate in.
Sport grooms us to become tolerant individuals who understand the value of teamwork and sportsman’s spirit in all of life’s situations. Sporting activities play a major role in shaping student’s outlook and inculcate the values like optimism, belief in oneself and the ability of taking failure in one’s stride. We teach the skill & techniques of different games. We have always cherished the time spent by our students in extracurricular activities like sports. Be it indoor game or outdoor sports like Football, Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball or Swimming, we provide them with excellent infrastructure.
Students of this club are internalized with the fact that art and aesthetics is the process or product of deliberately arranging elements in a way that appeals to the senses or emotions. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression. The club promotes free thinking among students which helps them to produce aesthetic and vivid objects environments or experiences. Activities like sketching, colouring, painting, craft, paper folding, clay modeling etc are described elaborately.
The primary activity of this club is to create an interest among children for reading. There are so many other attractions and diversions that today’s Child is not able to develop the reading habit, consequently affecting their studies. The activities of this club include reading short stories of different authors, discussions on plot and characterization and also encouraging them to write short stories, poems etc. This club also involves activities that inspire students to present their view points. Various activities like debates, group discussion are conducted throughout the year.
Students in this club are taught to move rhythmically usually to music, using prescribed or improvised steps and gestures. The importance of this non verbal form of communication is emphasized at a great length. Involvement of flexibility and body movements help children in keeping themselves fit. Various forms of dance like ballet, hip hop culture, salsa, classical dance, tango etc. are being harped at in the club.
As the name of the club suggests, the students here are taught the art of being isolated in time and/or space, present themselves to another as someone else. They are told about the effective use of utilizing speech, gesture, music, dance, and spectacle, combining the other performing arts, often as well as the visual arts, into a single artistic form. These students here work upon most recognizable features in theatre like direction, script writing, set designing, props setting, lights, sound and lastly performance.
The aim of this club is to familiarize the children with the common plants in the surrounding and at home. The club aims at making them familiar with different growth patterns of plants of different seasons. By the end of the session, the students have had a firsthand experience in growing seasonal vegetables of winter as well as summer.
The main aim is to sensitize students towards Eco– Awareness, maintenance of greenery around the school by various Plantation drive programmes, making best out of waste etc. Eco Club is actively involved in promoting environment related issues such as judicial use of paper and Planting trees.
The Horse Riding Club was initiated primarily to teach the skills of horse riding to children and today it has the distinction of teaching the correct way to mount and saddle the horse and ride the horse with style, elegance and confidence.
This club instructs students about how marching band is, in the broadest terms, a group of performers that consist of instrumental musicians and sometimes color guard who generally perform outdoors and incorporate some type of marching (and possibly other movements) with their musical performance. Instrumentation here typically includes brass, woodwinds, and percussion instruments. The students are instructed about controlled body movements for a dignified and graceful display.
The students have a choice of learning more skills after the school working hours. The following is the timetable that is followed for the activities in the evening. These classes start at 2:45pm and go on till 3:45pm. The fee structure is also given below.

Field Trips are organized every term. The children are taken to places which are close to Pondicherry for educational tours. Every year the children are taken for a Pathfinder’s Camp. The venue is an adventurous place. The children are taught skills like glass painting, tie and dye, book- binding and other vocational skills. Along with the adventures that they have, they are educated in the midst of the beauty of nature.
Bright, spacious classrooms provide our students a conducive environment for learning. Classrooms have ample space for students to enjoy and utilize the knowledge that they have attained. The classrooms are also well ventilated and lighted up.
Smart Class
The technology enabled programme ensures effective and enriching learning experience. The regularly updated inputs and a wide range of video clippings are accessed from the knowledge centre. Difficult and abstract concepts too become clear to the students when viewed on the large screens provided in the class rooms. The facility is also useful for the other purposes like Guest lectures, Electronic voting and General Assembly programmes. In essence, each class room is an audio visual room.
As audio and visual aids is mandatory for learning, we have an exclusive Audio/ Visual room. The learners also use the AV room to present their research work. The tiny tots watch entertaining and educative videos.
There is a school nurse and a student’s sick room to attend to emergencies and first aid . There is also a dental clinic in the school premises for periodic dental checkup of the students. We also have health camps conducted by experienced doctors from Frontier Life Line Hospital, Chennai.
The School has a cafeteria serving snacks and lunch. The importance of healthy dietary habit is stressed, but it cannot replace homemade, nutritious food. Hygiene and cleanliness is maintained to a high standard.
