STUDENT COUNCIL – 2016-17

Student council is a powerful representation of the student body at The Study that works in collaboration with administration sector and the teaching faculty. The Head Boy and the Head Girl are elected democratically by the student body after a weeklong frenzied election campaign. The other members of the council are selected by the Principal along with the staff on the basis of merits. The whole system serves to engage students in learning about democracy and leadership. The student council helps share students’ ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and Principal. They play an active role throughout the year in all school celebrations, activities, including social events, community projects, helping people in need and school reform. The council members learn skills that are an extension of their formal education.
